Zhengzhou China Hanfu Expo: Zhongyuan Hanfu Week July 7-9

The 2026 OY Central China Guofeng Hanfu Industry Exhibition and Zhongyuan Hanfu Culture Week will be held July 7–9 at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Billed as China’s first integrated “hanfu plus cultural tourism plus performance” industry ecosystem expo, the event is co-located with the 2026 OY Central China Cultural Tourism Industry Expo.

Zhengzhou China Hanfu Expo: Zhongyuan Hanfu Week July 7-9

The exhibition is organized around four pillars — clothing, ritual, performance, and travel — and targets the full hanfu supply chain. Exhibitor categories span traditional-form hanfu and neo-Chinese design, stage and film costumes, Chinese wedding attire (Ming and Song dynasty styles, dragon-phoenix jackets, and bridal accessories), guofeng makeup and hair ornaments, and cultural-tourism integration services including hanfu experience hall franchising, scenic-area IP licensing, and intangible cultural heritage craft demonstration.

The concurrent Zhongyuan Hanfu Culture Week will feature large-scale hanfu runway shows and parade-format presentations, while an industry summit will connect scenic-area operators, performance agencies, investors, and brands to discuss “hanfu plus destination” business models. A Chinese wedding culture experience zone will present full Song and Ming ceremony walkthroughs with dress-up and photography services. A guofeng makeup and styling competition will bring together makeup artists and photographers from across the country, and an ICH hands-on workshop zone will offer embroidery, silk-thread flower-making (chanhua), and velvet flower (ronghua) sessions.

The expo is supported by the China Cultural Industry Association and the Henan Cultural Tourism Investment Group, and organized by the Henan Cultural Industry Association, the Henan Tourism Industry Chamber of Commerce, and OY International Exhibition Group. The previous edition was held June 20–22, 2025, also at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, with opening-ceremony attendance from provincial political and cultural figures including the vice chairman of the Henan Provincial CPPCC and the chairman of Henan Cultural Tourism Investment Group.

The exhibitor scope reflects the industry’s expanding definition of hanfu: beyond garments, the show floor will feature costume and prop suppliers for film, television, and stage productions, scenic-area character costume designers, and cultural-tourism IP licensors. The “Huaxia Jinchang” runway program — the headline fashion presentation — is positioned as a cross-temporal cultural dialogue, combining traditional-form hanfu with neo-Chinese design on a single stage.

Henan’s positioning is strategic: as a province with deep cultural heritage, a booming short-drama production industry, and strong hanfu consumer demand, it offers a natural testbed for the “hanfu plus tourism plus performance” model the expo is designed to promote. For brands and manufacturers, the expo provides a dedicated B2B matchmaking zone connecting producers with buyers; for the public, it offers a rare concentration of runway shows, competitions, and hands-on workshops under one roof. With the hanfu market having surpassed 228 billion yuan in 2026, industry-facing events of this scale signal that the sector is moving beyond enthusiast gatherings and into professional trade-show territory.
