The Sword and the Brocade Hanfu
Drama is set in the Ming dynasty. Can anyone comment on the historical accuracy of these costumes?

I haven’t seen the drama, but from the pictures, it looks a little strange. I don’t know what style of hanfu the boy in picture 1 is wearing. The round-necked robe? but why does this outermost layer have no sleeves?😂😂
The top in picture 2 is a Ming Dynasty square-necked shirt? But the neckline seems a bit small? Picture 4 is too blurry to see the details clearly.History likes:7

The third picture looks a bit awkward, the size of the clothes is not right? I remember that the clothing of the Ming Dynasty was also relatively loose

It is generally very close to the hanfu, with the collar shape and buttons. Maybe it’s a modification of the hanfu? The overall fit is tighter. And part of the clothes, the curve is a bit strange.

I think the costume looks nice, but why is the collar folded down two corners.😂
