Qing dynasty is Manchu-led not Han people so technically no. However if you ask if it’s a kind of traditional Chinese attire, it counts. This topic has been up for debate. The qipao is a mix of Manchu, Chinese, and western influences so it’s also technically no. However, again, it can still be counted as traditional Chinese wear.

This really depends on how serious the event is but it’s best if you ask the event organizers. If you do end up wearing Qing Dynasty related clothing, just bear in mind that there may be people that would bring up what I talked about above(some people may be offended since as I said, hanfu was actually banned in some way during Qing Dynasty). And qipao is pretty different from hanfu so you may stand out. But also, I’m not an expert so I may be over thinking it so it’s best if you just ask the organizers.

It really depends on if I’m dependent on them or not. If I’m dependent on them, I’ll try to convince them about hanyuansu as daily wear. I’ll also bring up the dior mamianqun scandal, the wuhan hanfu bar, and how much more common hanfu has become. (And gradually start wearing hanyuansu that’s more like regular hanfu as they become more accepting and eventually regular hanfu)If I’m not dependent on them, I’ll just not wear it whenever I see them but still continue wearing them when I want.
